Use the yipiQ Maths tutor.

A short walk-through for families, with no sound. The tutor helps your child work through a Maths question one step at a time.

Step by step

The steps

  1. Sign in to your child’s yipiQ account. Open Classes and choose the Maths class.
  2. Open the Maths quiz you want to work on, then choose Practice. Read the question and have a go first.
  3. You can click Hide working space to give the question more room. Click Need a hand?, then Ask Stephanie.
  4. Start with Small hint. Choose Explain the idea or Show an example if you need more help.
  5. To ask a specific question, type what you have tried and where you need help, then click Ask. Read the reply and try the next step.
  6. Choose Practise this idea for a fresh question. Work out an answer and explain your thinking before asking for another hint.
  7. Choose Back to my question to return to the original work. Close the tutor when you are ready to continue.
