Practical Details

Programs, policies & how it all works.

The practical layer: what each program includes, how classes are delivered, where our students join from, and the policies we run on — written down so there are no surprises.

Delivery & service areas

Regular classes run through our online learning model — teacher-led lessons — and cater for students from anywhere: our families join from across Sydney, wider NSW and interstate. Mock trials are the deliberate exception to online delivery: they run in person at our Centre, because sitting a full-length paper in a room under supervision is part of what makes the rehearsal real.

Enrolment policy

  1. Enquire. Submit the enquiry form. Every enquiry is read personally by Stephanie, with a reply within 1–2 business days including current term details, fees and next steps.
  2. Watch the parent information session. Interested families receive a replay covering program structure, expectations and the online platforms.
  3. Parent induction, then class. Before your child's first class, a parent induction meeting runs through lesson expectations, homework requirements and course structure.

Enrolment is per term, aligned to the NSW school calendar. Contact us for fee schedules.

Assessment & academic integrity policies

  • Formal assessments run under exam conditions, with no second attempts — because the real OC, Selective and NAPLAN exams offer none.
  • Weekly tests are completed in class under time limits.
  • Results, marking and feedback are delivered through our online learning platform, where parents can monitor progress at any time.

Homework & expectations

Homework is set weekly and is part of the program, not an optional extra — our whole method rests on practise, practise, practise. Where required, homework is altered to meet the needs of individual students. We are equally explicit about the other side of the bargain: we expect hardworking students and supportive parents, because — as we tell every family — producing academic students takes four legs: teachers, resources, students and parents. Remove any leg and the chair falls.

Communication with parents

  • Weekly progress report emails during term
  • Weekly constructive feedback on your child's writing and sentences homework, and on their progress
  • Emails keeping you up to date with important news and information — term announcements, test updates and guidance that supports your child's education as a whole, sent whenever there is something you need to know
  • Parent information sessions each term, plus guidance on using our online learning platform to track feedback, homework and marks
  • Direct contact any time at [email protected]
